What is the weight capacity?
Standard cases support 25-30kg. Heavy-duty cases support 50kg. Extra-heavy-duty cases (with steel-core handles and reinforced wheels) support 80kg. We test every production batch with 1.2m drop test (26 drops) at rated capacity.
What wheels are used?
Standard: 50mm inline-skate wheels (PU, shore 85A). Premium: 75mm inline-skate wheels with sealed bearings. Heavy-duty: 100mm rubber wheels for rough terrain. Wheels are replaceable with standard tools.
Can the case include a TSA lock?
Yes. All our cases come with TSA-approved combination locks. For international travel, we recommend adding an AirTag or Tile tracker pocket (we can custom-cut the foam for these).
Are the cases airline-friendly?
Yes. Our Cabin (430x330x180mm) and Carry-on (530x400x250mm) sizes fit most airline cabin baggage requirements. Check-in sizes meet IATA checked baggage limits (linear dimensions under 158cm). Custom sizes available for specific airline requirements.
What handle options are available?
Standard: fixed top handle + side handle. Premium: telescoping trolley handle (3-position, locks at full extension). Heavy-duty: dual telescoping handles for extra stability. All handles are rated for 100kg static load.
Is the foam customizable?
Yes. Standard foam layouts for 50+ common gear configurations. Custom foam designed from your gear list with 5-7 day lead time. Foam-only re-cuts for existing cases: 30-50% of original cost.
What materials are available?
Shell: PP (light), ABS (balanced), PC (strongest), or PC+ABS blend. Frame: aluminum or steel-core. Foam: closed-cell PE with anti-static coating. Hardware: stainless steel or zinc-plated steel. We can customize material combinations.
Can the case be branded?
Yes. We offer laser engraving, screen printing, embossed logos, custom color (Pantone-matched), and custom retail packaging. MOQ: 1 piece for engraving, 50 pieces for screen printing, 100 pieces for custom color.
What is the warranty?
5 years on case shell, 2 years on hardware (wheels, handles, latches), 1 year on foam. Lifetime technical support. Warranty extends to 7 years for OEM/ODM clients. Most hardware components are replaceable in field.
Are the cases waterproof?
Standard cases are IP67 (waterproof to 1m for 30 minutes). For full submersion or marine use, we offer IP68 cases (5m continuous immersion). Gaskets are replaceable and available as spare parts.
Can the case include cable management features?
Yes. We offer built-in cable management: cable channels in foam, hook-and-loop cable ties, and dedicated accessory pouches. Popular for video production, broadcast, and IT/AV cases with many cables and connectors.
