EDP Renováveis is Portugal's largest wind energy company, with 14+ GW of installed capacity across Europe, US, and Brazil. Their onshore and offshore wind farms require ruggedized transport for monitoring and diagnostic equipment.
Challenges
Offshore wind farms have salt spray, high humidity, and platform vibration. Equipment transported by boat and helicopter needs marine-grade protection.
Solution
We provided 200 IP67 trolley cases with marine-grade stainless steel hardware (316L). Custom foam for vibration analyzers, thermal imagers, and electrical testers. Black color for UV resistance.
Results
Zero equipment loss in offshore environment. Cases survived 18 months of salt spray with no corrosion.
